FAQ #1: Why receive cosmetic treatments from a doctor?

We are highly trained professionals, and as a result, can provide our patients with the highest level of care. As doctors, we use what we believe are the scientifically best methods through a holistic approach.

FAQ #2: What cosmetic medicine services do you offer?

We treat/offer:

  • Age spots

  • Skin tags and warts

  • Moles and raised lesions

  • Small red facial veins

  • Sun damage

  • Skin tone and texture

  • Wrinkles

  • Surgical scars

  • Acne scars

  • Stretch marks

  • Melasma

FAQ #3: What is the process?

First, we require patients to come in for an initial consultation. In this consultation, we explore your desired outcome, whether the treatment is right for you, and if so, we then create a personalised programme to suit your individual needs.

You can learn more about the methods we use on our Cosmetic Medicine treatment page.

FAQ #4: Can you perform anti-wrinkle treatments?

Yes, one of our most popular cosmetic medicine requests is reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. We use methods such as Pellevé RF surgery that tighten and contract the skin to stimulate the growth of new collagen. Learn more by clicking here.

FAQ #5: Can you reduce the appearance of my acne scars?

Acne scars can be a source of dissatisfaction with many people. We love to help our patients in the reduction of the appearance of their acne scars. We use the Emerge Fractional Laser to remove or reduce acne scars.

If you’d like to know more about how we can help, please call us to make an appointment, or book an appointment online. Our highly-trained doctors will consult with you to discuss your goals, whether the treatment is right for you, and if so, to create a personalised programme.

FAQ #6:I have melasma, can you help me get rid of it?

Melasma is the appearance of pigmented skin across the face (though it can also appear on the body too). It is known as “the mask of pregnancy” as it is particularly common during this period in a woman’s life; however, both men and women can get it not through pregnancy.

Emerge Fractional Laser can help treat the pigmentations from melasma to even out the skin tone.

Here at The Clinic, we take great care with all of our treatments and pay attention to the desired goals of our patients.

If you’d like to book an initial cosmetic medicine consultation, then please call us on 9741 1200, or schedule an appointment online.
