Finding Us & Clinic InformationWe are conveniently located at 15 Princes Highway, Werribee. Free parking is available at rear of building. There is a ramp for wheelchair access from car park. We provide a wheelchair for patient use. Please talk to our friendly reception staff for assistance. ​ Werribee Train Station and Bus Terminal are approximately 700m away, or a five minute walk.

AppointmentsTo book an appointment, please call us on (03) 9741 1200 and one of our friendly reception staff will help you. Alternatively, you can book online appointments through our website, Facebook page or through Automed Systems AMS CONNECT App for IOS or Android. We highly encourage you to book an appointment so we can provide you the best possible care. Please note, we request you to call us if you wish to book an appointment for the Skin Cancer Clinic or Travel Medicine as these are generally long appointments. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions, and help you to book an appointment. ​ We make every effort to accommodate your preferred time and doctor. Our doctors will always attempt to keep to appointment times. However, if there is an unforeseen delay or your doctor is called away, or is attending emergencies, our staff will attempt to contact you to notify of the delay. ​ Long Appointments We aspire to provide you with high quality medical care in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We believe each patient should be given adequate time during consultations. Please consider booking a longer appointment if you believe you require it, so we can continue to provide you an excellent service. Examples of longer appointments include (but are not limited to):​ New patient’s/first appointment Two or more health concerns Skin Cancer Clinic If you want us to see more than one person (partner/child/parent/relative), please book separate appointments for each person Employment/insurance/taxi medicals If in doubt, please ask our friendly reception staff.

Billings and FeesPlease be advised that as of the 1st of August 2022, The Clinic will be mixed billing. Please be aware, you may incur out-of-pocket expenses for some services not covered by Medicare. Due to rising operational costs, we may charge you a small fee for some services such as medical consumables used as part of your treatment to cover these additional costs so that we can continue to provide you with high quality care. Some medical procedures may also attract out of pocket expenses, and it depends on the complexity of the procedure. A list of these charges is available at reception, and your doctor will advise you of the estimated out-of-pocket expenses at time of your consultation. Bulk billing consultations for healthcare card holders, pensioners and children below the age of 16 is at the discretion of the doctors. Earwax removal incurs out of pocket fee of $40 for pensioners and health care card holders, and $60 for Medicare card holders. All Cosmetic Medicine, Travel Clinic and some Skin Cancer Clinic consultations will be privately billed. ​ Employment medicals, Insurance medicals and Taxi medicals cannot be bulk billed, and attract out-of-pocket expenses. Please speak to our friendly reception staff for a list of fees. ​ A fee will be charged for Workcover and TAC at time of consultation. We will provide you with invoice to claim your funds back through the respective agencies. ​ Private patient’s standard consultation during business hours is $120 and afterhours is $170. ​ We request you to settle all outstanding accounts at time of consultation. We accept Cash, EFTPOS, Visa, Master Card, Amex and Diners Club. An additional fee may be charged for accounts not settled on same day to cover administrative costs. Other fees may apply in addition to the consultation fee and will be advised with some services. Please ask reception for more information.

Cancellation PolicyOur reception staff will make every effort to send you a reminder 24 hours prior to all appointments. Please inform us if you cannot attend an appointment so that we can help you reschedule your appointment at the next earliest, available time. A failure to attend or cancellations within 24 hours will attract a fee of $40. All Skin Cancer Clinic appointments, Microsuction ear wax removal appointments, K-laser treatment appointments and Travel Clinic appointments will need to be guaranteed with a credit card at time of booking.

ResultsOur staff do not give results over the phone. If you wish to be advised when your results become available, we can call you and help you book an appointment so that you can discuss your results with your doctor. Otherwise, you are welcome to book an appointment a few days after you had your tests done. In the event of a clinically significant result, we will contact you to offer an appointment to discuss these results with your doctor as soon as possible. Please ensure that we have your current contact details.

Reminder ServiceWe are committed to providing you and your family with preventative care. We operate a structured reminder system using modern technology which helps us identify patients who are due for their preventative medical care. Some examples of this would be people who may be due for their yearly flu vaccination, a pap smear, a mole check or a health and wellness check. If you choose not to be part of this system, please advise our staff in reception and complete a form.

Interpreter ServiceWe welcome patients from all ages and backgrounds. We can organise an interpreter service if you prefer to speak in your language. While booking your appointment, please let us know if you would like us to book an interpreter. Please ensure you give us adequate notice if you need an interpreter, and you may need to book a long appointment. We are always committed to providing you with high quality medical care, ensuring you completely understand the nature of your health concerns, and that you receive holistic care with a patient centred approach in managing all your health care needs. ​ Our doctors currently speak English, Hindi and Telugu. We are a team of keen learners and are enthusiastic to upskill and learn new languages as we love travelling and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. Prescriptions and Referral LettersIt is our practice policy that all prescriptions (new or repeat scripts) and referral letters (new or renewal) require you to make an appointment with your doctor. It is only under exceptional circumstances that your doctor may provide you with a repeat script if you are unable to attend an appointment and require a medication as part of your chronic illness. The decision of your doctor will be final in this matter. Small additional costs may apply to cover administration costs such as using a secure, registered post. We kindly request you only use this service in exceptional circumstances. Scripts for opiates, benzodiazepines or similar medications cannot be mailed to you, and you will need to make an appointment with your doctor.

Zero Tolerance PolicyAt The Clinic, we value our staff and their safety and well-being. As such, we have a zero tolerance policy for any behaviours we deem threatening or abusive. We will not tolerate any form of aggression, whether it be verbal or physical, to our staff or patients. This includes: swearing raised voices or shouting threatening or aggressive actions verbal or physical threats name calling or inappropriate gestures anything we deem aggressive or threatening We treat all of our staff and patients with kindness and respect. We respectfully ask anyone who visits our practice return the same courtesy. Anyone behaving in an aggressive or threatening way will be asked to immediately leave our practice. Failing to do so will result in us calling the police.
